"Exploration reports" is a database containing a rich and wide-ranging body of material. Here you can search for and download some 6,000 documents, most of them produced for mineral exploration purposes. The documents span a period stretching from 1880 to the present day.
Further documents are constantly being added to the database as they are digitised. Digitisation is being carried out through the Geodigitalia project at the SGU’s Regional Office in Malå – the Mineral Resources Information Office.
Searches are based on a number of different search fields: Title, Site, Author, County/Municipality, Map sheet, Report ID, Keyword search.
You can use one or more search fields. In each search box, one or more search words may be entered, separated by a space or comma. Documents matching one or more of the search words for that field will then be returned.
If you use more than one search field, your search will be limited to documents matching one or more search words in all the fields used.
You can enter search words in full, or with an asterisk (*) before and/or after part of the word. Searches are not case sensitive.
